A specialist fastener manufacturer with nearly five decades of engineering heritage has invested in advanced CNC machinery to enhance precision, efficiency and production capacity within its Black Country operations.

RCF Bolt & Nut Ltd, established in 1976 and operating in Walsall as part of the TGM Industrial Group, manufactures high-quality standard and bespoke industrial fasteners including bolts, nuts and precision-machined components.

The business recently received a £10,000 grant from Walsall Business Support, which has supported the purchase of a Doosan Lynx 2100LB CNC lathe, enabling RCF to increase machining capacity, maintain tight tolerances and improve turnaround times across a wide range of materials.

Adrian Garrett, Managing Director of RCF Bolt & Nut Ltd, said: “This funding has helped us accelerate our investment in advanced machining technology that strengthens our in-house capabilities. The new CNC lathe has already improved efficiency and flexibility, allowing us to meet demanding specifications while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.”

Walsall Business Support board member, Adam Howell, said: “We’re delighted to support RCF Bolt & Nut as they invest in advanced manufacturing technology and build on nearly 50 years of engineering expertise in the Black Country. Their continued focus on precision, capability and UK-based manufacturing highlights the strength of our local industrial sector.”

RCF Bolt & Nut supplies customers operating in safety-critical and high-performance sectors including construction, manufacturing, rail and the water industry, serving both distributors and end users in the UK and overseas.
